After introducing each new commonly misused word, I show my students 3 example slides. Some examples are correct, and some are VERY wrong. 😬
To show their understanding, the students vote for whether or not the example is correct—but instead of voting with a simple thumbs-up or thumbs-down, they might do calf raises or squats . . . whale sounds or bee buzzing . . . YMCA or chicken dance . . .
It really is a highlight of our day.
